In all my other GM's you had to hold the key until engine started. In this new one, you just turn it to start and leave it. So going back to the original post, Is this the new normal?

I turn the key to start and let go. It stays in the start position until the engine starts (maybe only a second or two) and then it returns to run by itself after the engine starts

Is it just mine? I have only driven the truck a half dozen times but when I turn the key to start it, the key stays in the start position (by itself) until the engine starts, then releases (by itself) Is this something new or is it my first defect?

Which version of Torque are you guys using? My screen doesn't look anything like any of the above
