This turned out to be a decent hole in the seam sealer. Gm shop only charged $107 to repair it as they popped off the trim and could easily see the issue. Likely has gotten bigger with time as the sealer shrinks. now a week later, I get to replace the AC compressor. just did the condenser a few months ago.

I stopped at the dealership body shop. They have never seen it like this either. They are going to keep it for a day and try to replicate the leak. Said it would cost a hundred bucks or so for a couple hours labor. Their thought is the seam sealer may have a crack in it. Didn't think the 3rd brake light could travel that far especially with the leveling kit, it doesn't have a good way to run down. We'll see what they say on Tuesday when I bring it in. Hey guys, I've been searching the forums for my particular issue, but have not found it. I have a roof leak right at the pillar between the front and rear doors. I first noticed it a few months ago as a stain in the headliner right under the roof ditch. It was only after a drive through car wash. I was able to replicate a couple times with the car wash, but never during a rain. Well, light to moderate rain the other day and more staining. No SUNROOF, too far back for the shark fin and wrong side. Too far forward for the third brake light, as there is no stain from the back. just above the trim between the doors. I'm out of warranty and can fix general things myself. Do I order a new molding and rip mine off, hoping i can seal it myself? Is there a gasket up there, or seem sealer?
