Do you have any pictures of the mod you did to make this work? Im assuming that by hot connection you're referring to power coming from the X5 connector and tying into a switch connected to X7 connector pins 5 & 17 ( Task lights) ?

Greetings all, New member here. I just picked up a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 and I'm looking to make a modification to the task lighting. I know that boost auto parts makes a harness that will allow for task lighting on with the high beams, however I'd like to have them set up for independent function. Has anyone done this yet? Thanks for the replies.

Can anyone post the measurements for the square hole? I’d do it myself but still waiting for my new Sierra to arrive at the dealership.
