Did some more digging, and found in 2wd it does not make the sound. In auto 4wd it does make the sound, and 4wd high and low does not have the sound.

Sorry I just reread your response. But are you talking about front and rear leaf spring or just the rear? Because all I have is a rear. But I will check mine tonight.

Hey, I have a 2014 1500 with the 5.3. I have started hearing a clucking noise from under the truck. I went into a parking lot and tried it in many different ways, but what I have narrowed it down to is the transfer case. Truck is in reverse and in auto 4wd with the front wheels straight or turned (hear way more turned). It is a loud clunking noise i thought at first it was the rear differential. But digging into it more I think its the transfer case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
