I have a 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT with 160k miles on it. A sudden high pitch sound happens when I accelerate but doesn’t last longer than 1 second. It kinda sounds like a quick metal scrap. It happens when I press on the gas pedal in any gear position and then goes away. I’ can’t figure out what’s causing this issue. Anyone else come across this sound or know of a solution?

I’m not sure if anyone else has came across this issue but when I start my truck there is a high pitched starting sound while it’s turning over. Once the engine starts it goes away and doesn’t happen again until I start my engine again. Does anyone know why this is happening?
