  1. Well, my jingle is back. This time it is more noticeable in reverse when locking out left and right. Chevy dealership replaced stub shaft on PIP5653J and the other supplied parts. Scheduled a new appointment with the dealership about a new problem with an error code of brake failure code P25A2. Along with the noise, so hopefully I can chat with them about the PIP5653K that was posted earlier. My truck is literally falling apart after a year and two months of ownership. Reached out to a lawyer to review my potential case. My frustration level is threw the roof with this purchase. I'm going in for my third repair attempt for the stub shaft / front diff … So hopefully I will have a case and eventually get this resolved.
  2. I was just being slightly dramatic haha. Mine made the noises turning left / right and after 4WD disengagement. I will continue to test the "fix" hoping for the best. The dealership didn't really help me out with the work order. I had a three page work order that basically looks like I only had one visit...
  3. Hey, I just ran into this issue. The tech spent 4 hours making a tool to pull the stub. Broke the clip, and cleaned out the broken pieces in the front diff since GM stated there are none for replacement right now... Just waiting for the front diff to explode now....
  4. Update on my 2020, Dealership has had my truck since last Wednesday. A clip in the front differential was stuck and they couldn't remove the portion they needed to in order to just replace the axle (stub shaft). GM approved a Front Diff replacement. Patiently waiting for my truck to be finished, and hoping that I don't have to go back... Followed the PIP / TSB
  5. Thanks for the info, I read over it quickly. Hopefully it will fix it. I don't want to have to go through the process of buying a new truck if it comes down to it, however, if it does end up going down that road, I will probably buy a 2018 and get a few more options for less $$ used.
  6. So, another victim to poor design. I started having this issue at around 6,000 miles. I have a 2020 RST z71 with those SU4 axles. Found this thread and finally can move forward with potential fixes. Looking at building a case to lemon law the truck. Working with my local dealership, I was floored they couldn't get this right. I finally found the PIP that "GM says fixes" the issue. Hoping it actually does, but after ready 30 pages of this thread, I think I'll end up in the same boat. Ohio has a one year or 18,000 mile lemon law. So far I'm at 10,500 miles and have until March. This will be the third repair, so hopefully I will have time to lemon law if it doesn't fix it.
