  1. Thanks guys I really appreciate the feedback. As for caps I built an A.R.E. on their site and my local distributer sent me back a quote just shy of $5000. Installation not included. Leer has not even e-mailed me back, so I thought they didnt make one to fit the new 2020 beds yet. Rumer is A.R.E. is the only one. Oh tried snugtop also , and received no bid.?? I work construction in northern cali. And like to carry , not only tools, but also expensive fishing equipment. (you never know when you might happen upon great fishing) Anyway a shell is the only way for my lifestyle. keep me posted.
  2. How much can I lift my 2020 sierra 4x4 crew cab diesel without voiding my warranty? Also would an aftermarket grill guard affect warranty ? And has anyone found a manufacturer who makes camper shells for my 6ft 9inch bed with multi pro tailgate? Im worried my work tools will be stolen.
  3. Hey I need my truck to go to work with me. So I need to accessorize . Either a commercial shell (i hear ARE makes the only one) they start at around $4000 and a rack. ( another $1000) Or some kind of a rack with tool box setup. Nothing hardly to choose from Any picks or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks D....
  4. I have been looking also, with the same results. We cant buy used because the 82.5 is a whole new design that started in 2020. with the 6 position tailgate its even worst. Im afraid that unless ARE actually has one that fits right. we are SOL. Also the ARE are pricey the style I want of course starting around $3800. Geez , was going to paint my old leer white and be done with it. 6ft 6inch of course. If anyone finds a company building propper fitting caps for the 2020 crew cab 2500 sierra 4x4. let us know.
  5. So I bought some cheap faux leather seat covers, for my crew cab 2020 2500 sierra 4x4. they all fit fine until the back 60/40 bench, anyway I cant figure out if they some how fold or detatch from the back wall of the cab so I can fit these covers on. Its driving me crazy because there is all these loops for baby seats and such and I dont want to mess up and deploy an airbag or something? And I cant find anything about it in manuals about it. Any Ideas would be appreciated. Oh my truck doesnt have a button start just a key.
  6. Thanks I will follow your advice. You gave me some peace of mind knowing for sure.
  7. Hey, Just received my 2020 2500 sierra 4x4 turbo crew cab 3 days ago. As I said , this is my first diesel and I have some questions that my seem elementary or common sense to you. Where should the oil pressure read? After 1st start in the am, warmed up she reads up to 60lbs pressure. After that she varies from 30 to 65. Is this normal? And before I start her should I turn key to auxillery to let glow plugs warm awhile before turning ignition? My buddy knows more than me about diesels, but I am afraid his advise may be outdated. Any help would be welcomed.400 miles today only 100 more and she is broke in. Cant wait to go over 60 . Anything else you think a rookie should know?
