I'm completely new here, so I apologize if I'm in the wrong forum. My issue is that I have recently finished completely rebuilding a 4L60E with my college Instructor. Since I have a freshly rebuilt transmission, I was thinking of buying a newer silverado with a bad transmission, to be able to pick on up cheaper. Well I found a 2010 Silverado 4.8v 4wd with a bad transmission. I realized it takes the 6L80 transmission, but I was wondering if it was possible to put the 4L60E in it.
