Looking to see if there is a website with the release notes for the system updates. Just took an update and looking to wee what the changes are.

My truck keeps saying that the tailgate is open. I check it and it is closed. It keeps saying the tailgate is open when I start the truck. Any thoughts about this? Art

Just a cord hack I want to pass along. I am the kind of person that would forget to remove the cord and drive away with it in. I went to amazon and got two key chains that have a red cloth tag that says "Remove before flight" in big letters. I put one on the cord and have another with a large carabiner on it. When I plug the truck in I put the tag with the carabiner on the steering wheel to remind me the cord is in. Just passing this along.

Got a call from the dealer, they are getting a complete new fender. I got my sales person to be my eyes and ears on that. I think the fact that I bought from him and still have a van with 296K miles on it motivated him ?

OK, fix totally worked. But..... When they took my truck in to do the fix the tech tagged a wall and trashed my rear passenger fender around the wheel. I was just under 1500 miles at the time. I am asking them to fully replace the fender with a new fender, not repair, no bondo. Am I thinking right on this. Art

So the number the dealer gave me was the short box lifted number. So on the LTZ with Z71 is it the short box or shortbox lifted?

I am thinking about asking for an extension of my onstar free trial as I have not been able to use a lot of the functions due to the bug.

I found the 2 inch lift thing on a chevy website. But the number came direct from my dealer.

Dealer helped me out. 78.23, there is a 2 inch lift with z71 and som change due to different tires.

This is a parking garage in town and the clearance is 6'-8". I can find the number for a standard but not for a Z71 which in my understanding adds a few inches. Is your 75.5 number for a 2021 Z71? The chevy site says 75.4 for a standard Silverado.

Trying to figure out what size parking garages I can use.

Did they say if the fix was downloadable over wireless?

There is a TSB on parasitic draw from seat electronics in cold weather.
