  1. I'm in Michigan so the roads aren'tthe greatest...but they should last more than 10k miles. I had a friend that had the Belltech kit on his 2020 F150 (same style struts as our trucks) and he also had to replace them at 10k miles. The seals were blown out and leaking, ride was also getting bad. The struts/shocks aren't bottoming out internally, so that can't be the cause. Front tires hit the top of the wheelwell on some big dips in the road but nothing crazy. I won't buy them again when it's time to replace them, that's for damn sure. I'd consider buying IHC control arms and keeping the 2" drop spindle. I'd have to add a 1" spacer under the strut to get it back to 4" drop (IHC arm 3" + 2" drop spindle) but you'd have a OEM strut so it should ride close to stock. Sucks to have to spend $600 on the IHC arms but I'm sure Belltech replacement struts aren't cheap either. Plus my stock struts have 375 miles on them and they're just sitting in my basement, might as well use them lol Wheels are 24x10 +30 with 305/35's. Tires rub the inner plastic at full cut but haven't even worn through yet, so it's not too bad.
  2. Unfortunately, unless there was a new kit unveiled at SEMA this year, I don't think such kit exists. Your best bet is to start with a Twisted Metal Workz rear 4 link kit, but you will still need to have bag mounts made/installed. As far as the front, maybe there is a K1 front bag kit that can work with some modifications, otherwise you will need to have custom bag/shock mounts installed. The Twisted Metal Workz rear 4 link kit is $1650, might be cheaper if you can get it without the Viking coilovers. All in with 4 link kit, bags, shocks, C notch, air management and fab work, I bet you're into it for close to $5k. A cheaper route will be to use the Twisted Metal Workz 4-link w/ Viking coilovers for the rear and their Viking coilover kit for the front. It will adjustable enough to get the ride height leveled but that's about it. Even this route is still $2500. I have the Belltech 4/6 (rear flip kit is a modified DJM from a 2018) with Twisted Metal Workz weld in Notch and IHC helper bags on my 21 RST. Ride is ok, but nothing like a bagged setup. I have 10k miles on the truck now and I think the Belltech struts/shocks are already going bad, the ride is getting noticeably bouncier. If I were you, I'd definitely stay away from Belltech and go the coilover route or IHC, if you can't do the bagged setup right now.
  3. 24x10 DUB Skillz. My plan was to powdercoat these black and use on the Silverado. Unfortunately they don't clear the fluid crossover on the front caliper. Sucks cause they were pretty cheap. Sent from my SM-N970U using Tapatalk
  4. I'm still on stock 20's for now. I would go with the 295/40 if you're staying with the 3/5 drop. It basically gives you the look of a 4/6, wheel well gap wise. 295/35 seems to be the go to size for 4/6 drops. The 295/40 may still rub here and there but it's worth it for the look you want. The only bummer is there isn't much for tire options in a 295/40. I had a 295/40 Atturo AZ800 on my 2019 Ram with a 3/5 and they were decent for the price. They did rub the top of the fenders on big dips in the road and the tire would hit the frame when turning full cut as well. I think that was more of a wheel offset issue though. 5. I would agree with your take on the ride. In my area there is a 1.5 miles stretch where the truck is constantly bouncing and it drives me crazy. I was in my wife's brand new Jeep GC Limited and it rode the same, bouncing a lot,, so the rode definitely sucks. But I'm coming from a 2017 Ram with Ground Force coils, which rode like garbage. Then a 2019 Ram with Maxtrac struts in front and coils in the rear, which rode a little better. This truck with the Belltech SP's definitely rides better then both of them by far. I think the only real solution for a better ride is using a double adjustable strut/shock setup. Viking and Belltech have double adjustables but I don't know if they have anything for the T1 trucks yet. Unfortunately that's not a cheap route to go. But I think having control of both compression and rebound will allow you to fine tune it to where the ride would be far better. I'm in it for the long haul, this truck is staying lowered forever, especially after all the work I've put into it so far. I will keep the current Belltech setup for a year or so, then start looking to see how I can switch to a double adjustable setup. Always improving lol. This is my current situation, truck is apart in the driveway with snow all around it, while I modify the leaf spring perches to correct the pinion angle. I'll slow down on the truck after I get this vibration taken care of, hoping the pinion angle correction is the answer. My neighbors must think I'm crazy, brand new truck apart in the driveway, in the middle of a Michigan winter! Lmao Sent from my SM-N970U using Tapatalk
  6. Yea, I left the bump stop cups there because I knew the notch was going in. Unfortunately the notch took some time to get here. Once I get the pinion angle corrected, the truck should be perfect. The rear end is also shifted to one side a little more than 1/2", so it might get tight with the new wheel setup. I wish DJM would sell their flip kit separately, it gives you pinion angle adjustment and side to side adjustment. When I called them, they said they only sell complete kits for these trucks, they won't break out their flip kit. This flip kit would solve both my issues. Sent from my SM-N970U using Tapatalk
  7. So far pretty good but I don't have a lot of miles on them yet. Before yesterday, the rear bottomed out so much that it was hard to tell how the front rode. It's stiffer than stock, but it's not bad. If I had my choice I'd put the Belltech double adjustable shocks and struts on it so I could fine tune the compression/rebound to make the ride better. The street performance stuff is definitely better than the old nitro drop crap they had years ago. When I lowered the truck initially I was only going 3/5, so I added the lift shackles that come with the kit to get back up to 5". I was just gonna run the 3/5 with IHC helpers but the truck still bottomed out until you aired it back up to 4" drop....which seems pointless. So I decided to just c notch but I wanted a weld in instead of bolt in. I think it'll ride firmer then stock on your IHC set up but not bad. Why are you taking the stock struts out? 8. Put the notch in today and it's finally sitting at 4/6...so excited! Rides great, no bottoming out. Still need to modify the perches to correct the pinion angle, it's worse now since I put the lowering shackles in. Don't understand for the life of me what GM changed on this truck from the 2020's. Shouldn't have to modify the belltech kit to fix the pinion angle. Is what it is now, no turning back! Still need to decide on a wheel but leaning towards a 24x10 Vossen HF6-3. Future mod will be C6 ZR1 calipers to match the blue center caps lol Sent from my SM-N970U using Tapatalk
  9. 1100 miles...just got it this past Thanksgiving. After I ordered the notch and it took 3 weeks to get here. It showed up just after I went back to work...after having 10 days for the holidays. I was trying to get it done over my break, just didn't work out that way. If I had to do it all over again I might've used the Twisted Metalworkz front and rear coilover with 4 link. It's more than twice the price of the Belltech kit but it comes double adjustable vikings. I would have to assume it rides bad ass. Sent from my SM-N970U using Tapatalk
  10. That coilover kit is sweet and I'm sure it rides awesome. I'm hoping my setup will ride good and then hold me over until I can bag this truck. It'll be a good 4-5 yrs for that to happen though. So far the quality of the notch is very nice, I'll find out on Friday how it fits. Super excited to have this truck finally ride good and not bottom out on every bump in the road. It was lowered when it had 375 miles on it, so it's basically rode like ****** for the whole time I've had it. Sent from my SM-N970U using Tapatalk
  11. 2021 RST with Belltech set at 3/4.5, IHC helpers in the rear. I'm installing a Twisted Metalworkz weld in under bed notch on Friday so it can finally sit at 4/6. Helpers will be added back on so I can tow my boat. Has anyone else had an issue on a 2021 truck with a bad pinion angle? I installed the Belltech 1041sp kit on my truck and the pinion angle was -10 degrees when it was done. It vibrated so bad I could barely get it to my buddies shop. We modified the rear perches to get the pinion angle close, but still have a vibration under hard acceleration. Once it's sitting at 4/6, I'll check the pinion angle and modify the perches for final to get the pinion angle 0. I called Belltech and since they haven't test fit on a 2021, they can't confirm fitment. Guess I'll be the guinea pig...it doesn't work outta the box lol. Sent from my SM-N970U using Tapatalk
