  1. I am an audio engineer and trust me, you only want the 2 speakers. One for the left channel and one for the right. When you put 2 speakers playing the same thing next to each other like that, they actually interfere with one another. The science of it is complicated but its called comb filtering. Feel free to go down that rabbit hole. The basic principle is you put a speaker where you want sound to be. If you want more volume, use more power to drive that speaker (as long as it can handle it) and not more speakers.
