I have a 14 Sierra base with IO4 radio option. Read tons of threads on here, visited all the sites that everyone says to visit. Read a lot of interesting things. I plan to do the IO4 to IO5 upgrade. I know what I need to do for those parts. Nobody seems to know what 8" screen is needed for the process. Is there a specific part number? Is the red backlight or blue/green backlight controlled by the HMI or is it a control screen part number difference? Does it need to be from a 2016? Will a 2014 screen work? I know i've read in more than one place that the radio control screen doesn't in fact get programmed. Any info would be appreciated. I don't have a ton of money to play with, but I'm willing to pay for the new radio, HMI and USB. I can't justify at the moment the $400 package up-charge for the radio control that I've seen on websites anywhere between $50 and $120 dollars.
