Has anyone noticed that every almost every Silverado or Sierra with the White Diamond Tricoat has a paint peel right behind the lower rear corner of the rear door window, usually on the drivers side, but sometimes on the passenger side. I have made it a point to look at every 2014 Silverado or Sierra with this color, and every truck has the same missing patch of paint on the rear door. Clearly this is a common defect. I know that 2015-2019 owners have recently settled a class action lawsuit for paint defects; is there anything out there for 2014 owners.

My 2014 Silverado Z71 makes a horrible creaking noise coming from the front passenger side. The ball joints have been replaced-didn't do any good. The weird thing is it mostly went away during the winter and has returned this spring/summer with warmer weather. I cannot pinpoint where the noise is exactly coming from other than right front corner. Could this be a worn out bushing somewhere, or possibly a strut? I seem to hear the noise on the upward travel of the suspension. One of my rear shocks is worn out, so I'm replacing them all the way around-hopefully that will help.
