Try out camerasource.com ive Used their camera on my camper and pickup without the tailgate and they work exactly like the factory tailgate camera.

Thanks. I guess this is one way to fix it, but seems kind of silly to buy the substitute camera and black it out. Camerasource.com offers a replacement camera for $389 but that’s kind of high. I was hoping for something a little less expensive.

I’m looking for a reasonable alternative to the tailgate camera. I have a camper on my 3500 most of the time, hence no camera. I have a 360 type of display and want to have that active. It goes totally out without the factory camera. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I love it. Speed, speed limit, navigation info. It’s all great.

Got a new 2020 Chev 3500 2months ago and like it very much. Plenty of power and rides great empty or with my maxed out camper. I added airbags to the suspension to level the ride with my camper loaded. Still rides fine.

I bought and installed the camera from https://camerasource.com/2019-...camera-included.html It works great and integrated right into the truck’s dash display. The only differences I would like is a lower price of course and a way to make the connection to the camera without crawling underneath the truck. I’m getting too old and broken to do that very often.
