    I have at Trail Boss Custom with Key. I too would like to just press my remote start function on the key fob before I shut the vehicle off to keep the vehicle running instead of turning off then remote starting. My last 2 vehicles were able to do this and it is great for just running into the store quick. It is a function that has purpose. I don't really need longer than 15 minutes. Is there any way to do this or any hack to get this function?

    I did a factory reset and have not had any issues in 3 weeks. The dealership was confused by this working but was aware it was a problem. Told me GM was working on the issue and trying to get a new software fix out there. I think their resources could have been better spent on just letting the dealership know that a factory reset of the radio fixes the issue.

    This happened to me last week. I shut off the truck and restarted. Still would not work. Shut off for 5 minutes and restarted truck. Did not work. Disconnected battery and that worked. Lord don't tell me I will have this electrical/chip issue as well as radio settings resetting to default daily. Will not bode well for repeat GM customers.

    I too am having the same problem. Will retain stations etc but will not do so on volume, EQ, Fade etc. Scheduled service and spoke with the rep. He stated that he was aware of this issue but GM does not have a fix yet. Prior post said to flash chip so I think I will ask them to do it anyway to see if it fixes it. GM could be six months. I have had this for 5 months now and it is very frustrating. Also, My fog lights I have to turn on every time instead of just being on unless I shut them off. I would like for them to be on when driving always except in high beam.
