Hello folks, I have a 2019 Silverado non-bose with the 8-inch screen. I am attempting to install my 10 inch Alpine Subwoofer and amp that was a holdover from other pickups that I had. I got all the wiring complete such as battery, ground, and remote switch at the F27 fuse. The amp turns on and everything appears to be working fine, except I have no audio inputs. I referenced the PDF install guide for the new Kicker subwoofer that is now offered for the 2019 Silverado/Sierra with Bose/non-Bose which tells me to disconnect two 28 pin connectors and locate a Blue and Brown/Blue set of wires. I am supposed to tap into those wires for my input. These connectors are supposed to be off the audio control module over by the glovebox, but I am having a difficult time trying to discern if I have the right connectors or not. Looking underneath my passenger footwell behind the glovebox I found this junction box with all sorts of wires. There are some blue and brown striped wires, but there also seems to be a couple sets of them. I just wanted to reach out to all of you and see if I am on the right track and I just need to dig further or if I need to look elsewhere. I am one wire tap away from getting this working. Thank you!

Title pretty much says it all. In temps lower than about -4 or -5° C (≈ 25° F) I get no sound out of my speakers. System is entirely stock except an aftermarket stereo deck (bought the module to keep steering wheel controls etc.) head unit lights up and my phone can Bluetooth to it but no sound except for a clicking noise from the speakers. From what I’ve seen it’s likely a dead amp, seems pretty common. Is there any information available about the factory bose amp or is there an amp available to buy that is equivalent to the factory Bose that I can replace it with? Not looking to add a big sound system in the truck any time soon.

Hi All, In my GMC truck 1500 Sierra, it makes an abnormal noise under the brake pedal area while pressing it. The sound comes directly from interior and its like a whistle sound and called sometime a hissing noise. The brake system functions properly and without any defects except the mentioned noise. Is it possible from the brake booster? or could be from other sources? Appreciate sharing your experience feedback in this problem. Regards, Abdulla brake gmc.xspf

Most every time I start up my truck I have to reset my Equalizer settings. It goes back to the default settings. 0 across the board. Does anyone else have this problem?

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? I have a 2019 Silverado trail boss and when you turn the fan on, whether it’s ac or heater, there is a noise that is not normal. It comes from the passenger side inside the dash area. It’s not a loud noise and if the stereo is on you won’t hear it. It sounds like the fan motor is off. I wouldn’t bother taking it in if all trucks made the noise but they don’t. I had the dealership take me in another trail boss and there was no sound, just normal wind sound. They changed a bearing saying that was the issue but it is still making the same noise. The second time I brought it in they said they are reporting it to GM. I brought it in today and the service desk worker said it’s “normal”. I asked why the others don’t make the noise and he said it’s “normal”. Obviously not normal or they would all make the same sound. Anyone know what it is??
