  1. I've had a problem with the 'reduced engine power' message and a U0107 code. When the problem first started there were other codes like the TPS. Long story short I replaced the throttle body. The TPS errors went away but the U0107 didn't. Searching the internet I traced the problem to a possible 'Throttle Acutator Control' TAC module. I replaced that and still didn't help. I can clear the code and it's fine. I've recently replaced the harness ends from the throttle body to the TAC module. This didn't help. I looked around and saw information about the grounds being a possible problem so the ones I could fine I cleaned. I ran a ground to the TAC and the PCM. Today I got the throttle body swapped out again. I can unplug the throttle body with the engine off then reconnect and have a better than 70% success rate. After replacing the throttle body today I got the message then cleared the error. It seemed to be doing okay. On two occasions, the same night, I happened to turn on the high beams and I got the error. Today I could let it run and it was fine until I turn on the a/c. As soon as I turn on the a/c it goes into reduced engine power. I clear the error and it runs fine until I turn on the air. Three times this happened tonight. I know, I know, don't turn on the air. This is the south. Any help is greatly appreciated.
