2019 chevy silverado 1500 LD, frequently won't start, Theft Deterrent system engaged. Have to wait for 8 minutes, then will start. Back from dealer this week, advised get new keys. done. Same thing happens. ps, there is no pattern to why it engages, it's not the autostart, or getting in and out, or sitting in the driver seat, and so on , and so forth. it randomly engages and the truck won't start. Just before being in the shop earlier this week,,, as it failed to start, and the theft system was engaged, it also locked me in the truck, and disabled the interior lock/unlock buttons and window buttons. However, the keyfob would still let me out of the truck, so thankfully, I don't have to replace any windows. The dealer kindly said I could bring it back in on the 30th. great. It's the 20th. I have a bumper to bumper warranty in effect.
