Sounds strange I have 2018 Silverado V-6. The fuel pressure sensor went out. The service tech then stated the system needed the Direct injection Service and the upper valves and everything was in need of this service. The truck has 42,000 miles on it. I purchased used with 32,000 miles.I couldn't believe the price tag on this service.
I almost said no, apparently the Direct injection engines need this to be done. Do they make it so that the more advanced the emissions the more often and delicate these trucks have gotten. Did I get taken advantage of?
