I posted earlier questions regarding gas in oil. My 2018 Sierra fuel pump activates immediately when opening driver door so if I was to go in the truck a couple of times just to get something without starting it would the not create gas in oil…would anyone know?

Just did on oil change on my 2018 GMC Sierra Elevation 1500 5.3L and after just two days my oil level is a little higher on the dipstick and smells like fuel again. I have read on here and on other forums that it may be a high pressure fuel pump issue. Can anyone please tell me if their covering this on power train warranty? Also would this not create engine damage due to dilution of oil and manufacturers are so specific about oil changes? I would have to think that even the slightest fuel dilation in the oil is definitely not good for the engine. thank you

Has anyone had issues with gas in their oil? Checked oil in 2018 GMC Sierra Elevation and it was over full and smelled like gas. We changed the oil ( which is done regularly) and gave the truck a good highway run. If anyone has ideas what is causing this or has heard of any issues I would greatly appreciate any info. Thanks
