  1. Hi @Greyhound6.2, such different tire wear can be due to the different stiffness of the rubber, and a lot depends on the manufacturer. And as you say, drove 14k miles and 10k+ towed a 6000 lb trailer- it certainly affects the rate of tire wear, + you have to consider what terrain you're driving on. I had a similar situation. I ordered tires from this site https://myvehicletires.com/best-snow-tire-for-truck/, though the terrain I was ordering on was pretty rocky, so they wore off quickly. I think that's normal, considering my shipment was 8,000 pounds or more. Good luck to you. I hope it helped!
