You sir are "da man." Bolt at the base of the cross bar support near the battery was sticking up a quarter of an inch. I really went down the rabbit hole on this one. Crazy how sound travels. Can't thank you enough.

I’ve tried unsuccessfully to locate a dash rattle/chirp in my Silverado that is really annoying. 2017 Silverado 1500 LT with Bench Front Seat. Bought new in 2017 and currently has ~95K miles. This was downtown city streets with lots of bumps and the sound is very pronounced. https://youtube.com/shorts/PS_GBWajQVQ?feature=share If I’m sitting back in my seat, it sounds as if it’s coming from the steering wheel/gauge cluster or slightly left of that. If I lean forward, it shifts to the middle of the dash closer to the windshield. To passengers, it sounds like the middle of the Dash. I found this TSB on a forum somewhere: https://www.lawsonproducts.com/media/cache/pdfs/I_PIT5438E_PPC1.pdf Condition 1: I didn’t remove the power inverter, but I pulled the dash panel from under the steering column off and grabbed the inverter while driving with the rattle/chirp, and the sound did not change. Condition 2: Pressing on the radio bezel didn’t help. I removed the bezel and tightened all screw heads I saw. Condition 3: I removed the defrost grill and applied foam tap to all metal fasteners and the plastic inserts on the windshield side. Also replaced the foam around the defrost port as it was degrading. Finally, applied foam tape to all connectors and potential rub points I saw under the grill before putting it back on. Condition 4: I don’t have the fixed center console. Condition 5: I don’t think this applies based on my radio. Condition 6: Nuts seem to be tight Condition 7: Cover is on tight. I have also tightened the typical loose bolts under the steering column, and “removed” the gauge cluster and tightened all screw heads behind and around the cluster. I realize it’s a long shot, but at this point just hoping someone can point me in the right direction based on the sound. Getting close to the point of dropping it off at the dealership and paying whatever it takes for them to find and fix it... Any help is appreciated.
