  1. I had them change the oil as planned. The CEL went off, but I've only driven it 5 miles since picking it up. The CEL was intermittent beforehand, so I'm looking to put a few days of driving on it to see what happens. Driving down the road 1500-2000rpm the oil pressure sits between 55-60psi at temp, and at idle it sits between 35-40psi. Temp outside was 55 degrees, so maybe the oil was a bit thick. I'd say the oil pressure is 10-15psi higher now then before this oil change. Being honest, I think I took this past oil change to 15,000 miles (I know, I know).
  2. I have a 2019 Silverado LD with 88k on it. About a week ago, the low oil light came on. I added 3 qts, was surprised it took that much. A day later, the CEL came on. I ran a scan and it returned P06DD. Through a google search it looks like it could be the oil pump, oil pressure sending unit, dirty/contaminated oil, or damage to the front cover of the oil pump. The dealer is looking at it tomorrow, but at first blush said $800 to $2500 depending what it is. I’ve asked them to change the oil first, and go from there as what I have read shows that may take care of the CEL. Oil pressure gauge reads normal, and the light turns on and off depending. Has anyone had this turn off by changing oil? I don’t see it being the pump, and it isn’t commanding higher pressure either. Other than my remote start not working because of the CEL, I can’t tell any difference in the trucks performance. I’ve probably put 5-600 miles on the truck since the light came on early last week. Any insight is appreciated. Thank You
  3. Update. Picked up the MX+ scanner and it turned out to be the front right ABS sensor. Swapped it, and went ahead and did rotors since I was back in there. No issues, and all back to normal. Looking at the old sensor, it didn't appear to have any damage. Best I can figure is a piece of rust fell down by the sensor or something like that.
  4. Ordered the OBD Link MX+, should arrive tomorrow. I've put 700 miles on the truck this week, and it drives normal. Except for the fact that is clearly does not have ABS. Making me think I messed up an ABS sensor while doing the break pads somehow.
  5. I have a 2019 Silverado LD and I replaced my front brake pads yesterday, and now I am getting these same messages. I looked over everything and don't see where anything is wrong/broken/damaged.
  6. Yes it is a 2019 that has the old style like a 2018. I believe the LD stands for Light Duty. It's void of a couple features so I'm told, but I've never wanted for anything. The two scanners I tried came up with nothing. I'd hate to take it to the dealer to solve this. I have a warranty up to 100k through GM, but something tells me this will be an out of pocket expense.
  7. 2019 Silverado LD with 81,000 miles. First change of brake pads. I know I should have done rotors too, but I am away from home on work and only had limited tools and a Sunday to mess with it. So I pad slapped the front, and put it back together. Didn't un-plug any sensors, just pads. After I put the wheels back on I started the truck and was greeted by a host of service errors. When I turn the key forward before the truck is even running the service Stabilitrak message comes up, after I dismiss that Service Trailer Brake comes up. To go along with that the ABS and Traction control lights are on now as well. I tried scanning it, but the scanner didn't come back with any codes. I tried disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes, but that didn't do anything. The brake fluid is full, between Min/Max. The truck has a great brake pedal now, and drives as it did before. I've put 70-80 miles on it since I did the brake pads yesterday. Any thoughts or input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
