  1. Thanks Grumpy Bear, but that has been replaced at a sum of $490.00 inflated dollars. The leak persisted, (seeping through the pressed-in-cap on the driveshaft yoke). After removing the extension housing again it was discovered that the output shaft seal was leaking. Just need to know if "that" seal can be replaced without tearing down the transmission and removing the planetary gear section that is connected to the output shaft.
  2. Is it possible to remove/replace the output shaft seal from the rear side of the transmission (after removing the extension housing) without tearing down the transmission?
