I'm not sure this is the right topic to post this question in, but ... I'm contemplating ordering a 2023 Silverado LTZ and my question is concerning what to order if I want a smooth ride. Let me start by saying I am a city dweller. I live and work in the city and never had a real need for a 4WD vehicle. My previous vehicle was a 2008 Silverado 2WD which had a smooth ride. I believe it was a LTZ or whatever the equivalent would have been. My current truck is a 2017 Silverado LT 2WD. Nothing fancy about this one. But the ride is noticeably less smooth. I can really feel speed bumps. Quick lane changes, navigating parking lots, sharp turns, etc. I really feel the truck shift from side to side. This is what I want avoid. So my question is: What are the pros and cons of 2WD vs 4WD vs 4WD with an off road package? Which one is most likely to give me the ride I'm looking for?
