  1. My dealer called me on Saturday and basically told me the transmission is learning for the first 2000 miles. He recommended I wait till then and see what it's like. I'm at 1100 miles and it does seem to be getting better. So I'm hopeful it will work itself out. Good luck
  2. Nearly 500 miles in and still the same. Really just the 1-2 shift bogs the motor unless you throttle into it pretty quickly.
  3. Thanks bought from James Black today. Great price!
  4. @GMCustomerService While I appreciate your response I did email as requested on Feb 22nd and only response I received was a survey request for my email. No other response in reference to my problem.
  5. Considering an extended warranty and prefer to go with one from GM. I've found one source online that sells them at a discount. Did this on the last new vehicle I purchased from Ford but not seeing much online for GMC dealers. Anyone have a dealer they have done this thru they would recommend?
  6. Hi guys, just bought a new 2022 Silverado RST Z71 with the 5.3L and 10 Speed Transmission. Only had the truck for a few days but noticed if I don't take off under heavy acceleration there is a lag in what seems to be the 1-2 shift. It shifts but the truck basically acts like it bogs down and hesitates on the initial shift. All others shifts seem fine only the first shift has this bogging and takeoff with more throttle seems to resolve this. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this and if its normal transmission learning cycle or maybe related to this new update from GM. https://pickuptrucktalk.com/2023/01/gm-releases-transmission-fix-for-2022-chevy-silverado-gmc-sierra/ If anyone else has experienced this or has done the update above please let me know your experience. Thanks Scott
