All of a sudden my power tailgate does not open fully to the stop or put tension on the cables. It hangs about 1/2" high with the cables slack. It can be pushed down to tension the cables, but it springs right back up 1/2". Is there an adjustment that can correct this?

As usual, I broke something while trying to fix something else... I had a rock hit my passenger side marker light (the two strip lights facing forward) and went right through. I bought the replacement part and went to YouTube University to learn to tear it apart and rebuild it. Success! Except now the blind spot marker only works periodically and the cargo light (rear facing twin LED) is not working at all. Does anyone have a.wiring diagram so I know which wires to troubleshoot?
