It isn’t a front camera that is actually a camera like I think you are thinking. The camera provides lane departure and collision avoidance.

The camera is an original replacement. The connector looked alright. When I initially installed the camera it immediately connected and went into calibration mode.

It was an option. It is mounted on windshield by rear view mirror.

I have a 2017 Silverado LTZ Z71. I installed a new front camera after the last one quick working about a year ago. When the camera is working all the features work. Now about every 5th time of starting my truck, I get the service front camera light. Any ideas?
