This is insane, but here’s what the problem ended up being: the dealer did not plug-in the speakers when they installed the system. Seriously.

23 Sierra 1500 Denali carbon pro here. I can get my phone to connect to the kicker sound system at the bottom of the tailgate but no sound is coming out is the speakers. Have confirmed it is in Bluetooth mode, and that phone is connected. Spotify shows a song playing. Volume is up on both phone and kicker system. But no sound coming out of speakers. Any ideas ? thanks for you help! EDIT: I should add that I have tried plugging in via USB and can’t get any sound there either.

Hi folks, new 2023 sierra 1500 owner here, and my first GMC. Question about the parking brake. The times at which it engages automatically when I shift into park versus not, and disengaging automatically when I shift a reverse or drive, seem to be somewhat random. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t, and I have to manually do it. Are there any tricks here or something I’m not noticing or a setting somewhere? Thanks for your help.
