I own a 2017 chevy sikverado 1500. The other day when it was a bit chilly and damp outside, it wouldn't start. You can hear a subtle click one time and that is it. Everything else turns on except the engine. Swapped the battery out, and had the started tested. Starter came up good but I was told that you can't necessarily go off of the bench tests. Checked all fuses and swapped starter relay. Still won't start. If given a jump from another vehicle it can take awhile but will start eventually. If given a jump from a shop charger, it will start immediately. It stays running the whole time. Sometimes when you shut it back off after driving it, it will start again multiple times in a row. Sometimes when you get it running and you shut it off immediately it won't turn on again. What should be my next step, or does anyone know what is wrong? Should I get and install a new starter even though it tested good?
