  1. Disconnect the battery, can't skip that step. Resets engine cpu
  2. @rav3letting my truck cool down and gonna do it right now. Is it just ground on battery or hot as well? Video just showed ground. Thanks btw for sending!
  3. Has anyone tried changing the relay and/or fuse for the fan? I ask because I'm having the same problems and changed out both the thermostat and sensor. Fan kept running after thermostat, but stopped working at all before I got chance to replace sensor. I figured the relay and/or fuse blew from fan constantly running, but when I checked the fuse box...neither was even there! Confused as to how they could run without them. Hoping my fan didn't go out with no relay, because it was obviously running without one.
  4. I have a 17 Silverado and the radiator fan was constantly running and wouldn't turn off until a good 5 minutes after shuttingof the truck. Through researching online, I found the problem was either the coolant temperature sensor the thermostat. I started by doing the thermostat (should've just did both at the same time) and the fan continued to run. I located the sensor and had planned to install it after work when my fan stopped working before I had a chance. Didn't wanna risk overheating so I had it towed. Installed the sensor and the fan won't kick on. My question is this...I had planned on replacing the fan relay as I figured it blew from the fan running too much and when I checked the fuse box, the relay and fuse where not present. Is this fan supposed to run without a relay and/or fuse? I'm hoping the fan itself didn't burn out because of no relay/fuse. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
