  1. So as the title says, I wanna wire aux reverse lights into the cargo light circuit on my 2015 SLT Sierra. I’d like to mount them on the bottom of my trailer hitch. I’ve been looking on other forum posts and can’t really find a direct anwser. Is there a factory wire in the spare tire area that is a part of the cargo light circuit? Or where could I splice into the cargo light circuit. Thanks
  2. So I bought a 5.3 2015 1500 SLT sierra and on my test drive the warning for passenger side signal light failure came up on the dash, figured it was just the bulb, turns out there was no power at all going to the passenger side meaning no stop/turn/tail or reverse light. So when I got it home I took the passenger side Tailight apart to find the bottom light socket completely cut out out of the harness, no big deal got the p/n (22869171) and ordered a new harness. I installed it today. Well its better then what it was I now have blinkers (still hyper flashing) tail lights and brake lights. But when I put the bottom bulb in and turned the lights on the bulb burnt out after a few seconds, tried another bulb and same thing. I still also have no reverse lights on either side. So to summarize, the bottom bulb keeps burning out on passenger side and I have no reverse lights on either side. I know there’s the junction block above the spare tire (p/n 23208491) that is known to fail in harsh climates which I do live in eastern canada where they pound the salt to the roads worse then McDonald’s fries. I’m worried about spending the 200$ on the junction block and it not fixing my problem. Anyone have any other ideas of what it could be?
  3. So I bought a 2015 4x4 SLT sierra (1500) on the 3rd of January. On my test drive I engaged the right turn signal and after a couple flashes it started hyper flashing. Stupid me assumed it was just a bulb and didn’t worry too much about it. On the drive home my buddy who was following me home calls me and says there no turn/tail or brake lights on the passenger side and there’s also no reverse light . Now that I finally got some time off work I took the light housing off and came to find the bottom light socket completely cut out and missing. Not sure why anyone would do this especially with the fact that where I bought it from was a certified used car dealer (3 hours away in another province) and had just put on a fresh inspection sticker. My question being does anyone know the part number to the socket? And also my driver side reverse light does not work, but I’m wondering are the two reverse lights for each side in the same circuit causing the driver side to not work since there’s no power at the passenger side? Thanks
