I’ve got a 2024 Trail boss with the active exhaust on the 6.2. Basically, it activates in sport or off road mode. As far as the sound goes, it sounds amazing. At times I wish it was just a little louder but I’ve heard of guys removing the resonators and leaving the NPP / Active exhaust on it. I mean really the exhaust is plenty loud enough it’s just the cab is quiet, which is a good thing for ride quality. if you’re just cruising down the highway it’s not going to be loud but at higher RPM’s it’s got a really nice growl to it and they will definitely hear you coming.
