  1. Whatever they did in the TSB has worked so far for mine too.
  2. That should hopefully be the answer. They should use a gopro like the one guy did so he could see it in action.
  3. I bought mine used but the dealership took care of it for me.
  4. It wouldn't let me quote, but there's the technical service bulletin.
  5. Did you see the TSB I posted earlier in this thread? Knock on wood mines been fine so far.
  6. This is a great way. It can be frustrating. Mi es been fine since they did the TSB steps thankfully.
  7. That's too bad. I really don't know if what they did on the TSB really made the difference or not, but mines been fine so far since they did it (knock on wood).
  8. Did you try the battery disconnect? I thought I read somewhere it didn't work for some.
  9. It's not a rant, it's the unfortunate truth. Luckily, so far, whatever they did on th TSB has worked for me. I drive it every day and it's been fine. I haven't taken it on any longer trips since, but it gets driven. The one thing they did that had me wondering was the extra ground. I'd never heard of that as a fix, but who knows? The times it happened to me I was able to disconnect the battery and it was fine. I hear alot of people have put a Battery Tender on theirs. I did purchase an extended warranty a few weeks back, just for peace of mind. Good luck. If I find anything else out, I'll let you know. Chris
  10. Not sure how I didn't see this before. That's good news. My master switch came, but I'm holding off until ,god forbid, it happens again. Mine has been fine so far. I'll keep you posted .
  11. Hopefully my mechanic buddy has all the equipment needed if that's the case. If not my other friend works for a gm dealer. I'll have him hook me up. I'm going to look into that right now. I appreciate the heads up.
  12. So, they pulled a TSB and went through all the steps which included six things. They also added an extra ground from the starter to the frame. If it doesn't fix the issue they will do the master switch. I ordered one online and will switch it myself. $50 shipped was fair. As far as the camera situation goes, the programmer said we'd have to lower the camera in the grill 4.5" because of my lift kit. It wouldn't let him do anything. Something about GM cameras don't allow you to prvogram the angle like Dodge and Ford do.
  13. It's in the shop right now. They might have to keep it an extra day. I am hopeful.
  14. Me too! Twice it happened on my lunch break, which I drive to daily, so I didn't have time to mess around. The second time, I was 40 miles from home and I was lucky enough to find something to unhook the battery with. Fingers crossed for sure!
  15. Mine just says the key fob programming part. At least that's all I've seen. Hoping for a fix tomorrow. I won't know until it's been a while. On average I've been stopped by jt every 10-14 days.
  16. I believe mine said key fob programming. I just went and disconnected the battery as soon as I saw it happen. My running boards get all whacky afterwards too. I guess some people have this happen and come back later and it's "normal". Each time it's happened to me I wasn't home so I didn't have the luxury. I put a 10 mm socket in the center console after it happened the second time. I never expected it to happen again, but I was definitely wrong. I hope they can figure it out tomorrow. Do all of your cameras work? My front is out all the time. Usually the others work. I got the weird blue screen once and it hasn't happened since.
  17. I'm going in tomorrow. I'm hoping they listened to what I learned in this thread and have the master switch ready. I will show them this video too. Thanks for catching that. Sometimes when I get in, the GMC logo on the instrument cluster flashes weird too. It must be tied into the problem somehow. Thanks again.
  18. I'm taking mine in Tuesday to hopefully solve the issue with the master switch. My front camera is always out and I had the whole system blank out. They are reprogramming the cameras that day too. I will report back either way. A couple posts I saw, the master switch fixed the problem.
  19. Thanks for the reply. I never use the fob to start it, but I do use the app. I found this in another conversation today too. I'm telling my dealer about this possibility. Sorry you are having the same issue. and It does sound like the exact same thing my truck does. Take a video of what its doing and of you putting foot on brake and pushing the Button and send it to your service rep at the dealership. That's how I finally got them to stop and investigate deeper. For my truck they replaced the drivers door latch. which did not help. this last time they replaced the drivers window master switch. I am 3 weeks in with no issues after the window switch replacement. I'm knocking on wood as I'm typing this. LOL The cooperate technician says everything points to the drivers door. I hope you can get some help. please keep us posted.
  20. This has been happening to my 2019. It's also had some camera issues where they completely cut out and gave me a bright blue screen. It was on a heavy rain day where I'd been traveling 70 mph for 40 miles or so, not that that's an excuse for them to stop working altogether. My main concern is the key fob issue. I'm afraid of it not working when I disconnect the battery at some point. Did you ever figure out what it was?
  21. The first time thus happened I did both. It still did not react to me stepping on the pedal and pushing the button. There is something just "not there", and you notice it as soon as you open the door. Mine said "programming fob". The fob was in my hand and nothing was in the cup holder.
  22. If this happens, all you have to do is disconnect the battery and you'll be able to start the vehicle. I've had this issue twice in less than two weeks. I'm trying to find a fix.
