  1. New and first time on the forum here. I have a 2012 Chevy Avalanche and got a Crankshaft Position Sensor error, and I replaced it. Location behind the starter just to confirm. I also read/watched how a 2-bolt harness by harmonic balancer but mine has a 3-bolt harness which 1 bolt is behind the balancer. Now that's the camshaft position sensor I believe. The problem when I turn the key is that it goes weak "womp womp" then starts and runs fine. Then the same happens but the crankshaft error is back. When this happens its rough running, the stabilization and traction display off and RPM not moving. I turn off, disconnect battery, then after reconnecting and start with "womp womp" but no errors. It sounds great runs great. I have had this process repeat a couple times. I have no time determination as to when it works and doesn't. Can anyone please point me in a direction. I apologize for the horrible grammar.
