  1. Yup! I think I'm just going to drain out the M1 and put in the AC Delco part # that it calls for in the manual. I'm seeing a lot of disagreement if these differentials need a LS additive in the gear oil. Can't go wrong putting in what the manufacture suggests.
  2. The front’s are new with less than 1,500 miles. The rears were done less than two years ago and have to have less than 5,000 miles. This truck is a garage queen and I mainly drive it on the weekends.
  3. Hello, My 2016 Silverado has around 54,000 miles. A few weeks ago I changed out the fluid in my rear differential with Mobil-1 75W-90 Delvac. All seemed fine in the days/miles after. No leaks, noises, etc. A few days I noticed a whine coming from the truck when I turn at low speeds. I first thought it was coming from the front. I took it to the shop and they couldn't get it to make the noise. After a few more trips I started to think it was coming from the rear. I threw my camera under the truck and drove around the neighborhood. The camera caught the noise perfectly. I'm not saying the noise is related to the fluid change, but I knew I should mention it. This noise was absolutely not there prior to this though. I took the researched advice on here and used the oil I chose. If I should have used something else based on what the truck came equipped with, that's on me. I'm including a picture inside my diff from when I changed the oil. I'm also including my RPO codes if that helps. The video is uploaded to YouTube and can be found HERE. The description lists the first few timestamps but there is 7 or 8 turns captured. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance.
