The mechanic I used recommended it . I have spent a fortune on this already and have the same symptoms. He stated it was a blown head gasket and my Transmission burnt up as well cause it ran hot and started shifting wrong .
Yes using the gauge cluster. Temp goes to about 210 as it should then about five min later goes around 220 . no sir not using a scan tool . I wouldnt think it would be a head gasket cause that's why I replaced the motor from the previous one .
I've changed my engine ,transmission, thermostat, fan clutch, radiator, water pump , and burped the system I have a 2013chevy silverado 2500hd 6.0 does anyone have a suggestion what else I can do ? No check engine light
