    Update I did get them to finally work, turns out the light strips were pulling to many amps causing it to trip the fix for me was to cut my light strips from 5 feet to just shy of 3 feet (34 inches). also found out the amps tend to spike on that circuit when turning the truck on so they would work with the truck off and opening and unlocking the door but when the truck is turned on (and the dome lights on) they would turn off as of right now 34 inches seems to be the sweet spot for me hopefully it stays that way thank you to everyone who helped me out!!! (RUNNING BOARD LIGHTS)

    Hey there Matt you seem to be pretty educated about this so I tapped into x1 cavity 1 and my lights turn on and shut after about a second I’m thinking it may be pulling to many amps what do you think ? mind you I’m installing LED strip lights one on each side of my truck
