  1. WOW, So sad to see so many new people and worse seeing some with unresolved issues STILL ! I was jaw jacking with a guy last week at the car wash and commented on how nice his Silverado looked and then he unloaded for the next 20min about the vibration issue he's having on his 50k + truck with 2,200 miles. Wished him the best and gave him this link.
  2. I really doubt they would do anything with that type of mileage, but I've been wrong before ! They are making plenty of money, so I figure the GM attitude is hope this all blows over. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/general-motors-stock-surges-after-profit-outlook-dividend-were-raised-2016-01-13
  3. Finally an article that includes trucks ! Is your GM vehicle making you sick?http://www.cbsnews.com/news/is-your-gm-vehicle-making-you-sick/
  4. Exactly ! Like my, '69 C-20, '73 C-20, '80 C-10, 97 K-1500, '04 K-2500 & My '14 Ram 1500
  5. Either it's someone new or they just want to increase their post count This is the part I love " This is not what you should expect after purchasing a new 2015 Silverado LT. "
  6. My vibration was noticed @ 300 miles and every time GM did something to it just made it worse, Umteen times of road forcing 4 different sets of tires & wheels, pinion, complete differential, shocks, and for extra credit they loosened the body mounts twice ! I honestly considered mine to be a safety hazard, @ 75 it would feel like the rear end was leaving the pavement kinda like driving on a wash board gravel road. this was from Nov. 2014 until Feb.2015 when GM finally cut a check. I drove seven 2014's and three 2015's all with less then a 100 miles on them and they all vibrated, not as bad as mine so I declined the use of a loaned and bought a Ram on 12/22/2014 and have not had one issue and the best part I was able to get a more equipped Ram for MUCH less money then the Silverado They never had time to address the transmission or injector issues !
  7. I would suspect they have a huge backlog, that everyday get's longer
  8. This is the format I used, I started a place so people could find stats quickly and not loading down the GM-Trucks.com forum, They Have been very supportive and I sincerely apperciate all of the help they have given all of us that are trying to get through this vibration ordeal. Year: Make: Body: Trim: Engine: Trans: Drive line: Axel Ratio: Tires & Wheels: Production Date: Final Assembly Plant: In Service Date: Mileage @ Delivery: Current Mileage: After Market Adds: State Registered In:
  9. There are links on mine and Jesse D sig. lines ;)
  10. It's sad to see all of the new members and that their first posts is in this thread I hope a final fix is close.
  11. Welcome to the forum bobbyg175, Find out the lemon laws in your state, file a BBB report also. They had mine from Nov.2014 until Feb.2015 I do feel your pain ! they never got to my transmission or direct injector issues, but basically threw so many parts at it they even had a hard time remembering what they had exactly done so keep all of your paper work in order, lastly the dealer has to play by GM rules or risk his franchise...So be nice, it made a world of difference when the buy back time came as my dealer went to bat for me, I was never given the opportunity to speak face to face with anyone from GM. Good Luck !
  12. I'm also keeping an eye on this forum, I joined here long before the vibration issue back when I had my '04 K-2500 that I traded in on the '14. When I traded the '04 on the '14 in Oct 2014 and the first time into the service drive being told " Don't believe everything you read on the internet " & " Normal opperation " this was the first place I came to. and just to find out this thread started in August of 2013 ! For me being a past employee of GM/Chevrolet, I learned there is no such thing as brand loyalty in today's world and I won't even go on about how GM/ Chevrolet Motor Division insulted my intellengence. For four months they had my PAID for Silverado, racked up over a thousand miles and all I got was Silverado's that vibrate just as bad as mine to drive...What a joke ! The ' DEAL ' that GM has made with the government and the unions at the tax payer expense, in my opinion should be the reason they get no more hand outs...Period ! All three of them have not a clue on how to run a business or provide any type of customer service ! All of their records clearly state this. I will continue to help as many as I can, and I have enjoyed helping the one's who have PM'd me. The facts are clear unless you care not to acknowledge it, Since 2013 GM has really not really made any positive ground on this ! And Why ? BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE TO ! ! ! I took my ' HIT ' like a big boy and like a few have mentioned, I ended up getting More Truck/Equipment for less money. Not only is my Ram vibration free, the transmission does not increase 300 to 400 RPM's on a up shifts, the injectors are quiet, no dash rattles, no paint runs.
