Hello. I just bought a 2008 Silverado 4dr 2wd 5.3l. The original owner sold it due to it not starting. Was not a repeating issue, but one day it would not turn over. He took it to a questionable shop and they just said it must be electrical....that's it. Fully charged battery(tried boosting too), turn the key, at first very little comes up on the dash. Soon after I get the common gauges etc. No crank at all. Checked voltage at both ends of ground wire, both good. I do not get a line under any shift positions on the display, no matter what position I put the shifter in. I would love pointers for trouble shooting from here. I am more mechanical than electrical, but willing to learn and try anything. New starter has been installed after no start issue.

Working on front right caliper, rotor and line replacement. Broke off the 10mm bolt for the hose bracket that mounts to the top of the steering knuckle. The bracket is a part of the brake line, but also has a stay for the abs line. Outside of drilling and tapping, any other handy solutions to reattached that bracket? All ears, thank you.
