    DO NOT TRUST THE ONLINE CATALOG! Always, always, no exception, verify a VIN with the options you want, with whoever you’re ordering from. Heck, I’d go as far as to recommending people verify the part numbers posted in this thread with the supplier before ordering. Better safe than, an expensive sorry.

    Update: I bypassed the front hub, by connecting the GM cable directly from the HMI to the brown connector at the console, and now I have Apple CarPlay working in the console storage. So that leads me to believe there is a problem with my front hub passing the signal through to the back hub.

    Hmmmm..., - i have the 2016+ front usb hub (only 2 USB ports) - newer style hub in the center console (without SD slot) - your harness - GM cable from HMI to front hub, then GM cable from front hub to brown connector @ console. just as it’s all layer out back on p.1 is it possible the GM cable from front hub to brown connector is incorrect, and not carrying the Apple play signal? Heck maybe I should double check it’s fully connected.... i would assume, your harness is providing power, and the GM cable is providing data: so it’s got to be with the cable or the front hub not passing the signal. The phone will charge fine.

    Any more info to share on this Phil? ? BIG THIMBS UP for your plug n play harness!!! Finally found time today to install your harness, and the other necessary usb cables from GM. Come to find out I don’t have CarPlay passing through to the usb inside the console storage. That usb will charge, but no Apple play. I do have Apple at the front usb’s However. Thanks!

    You could always email your VIN number to Floyd over @ gmpartsdirect, and ask him to verify what color your trim is.

    Synthesis is the Satin Nickel, but NOT the carbon fiber looking satin nickel. (I think that is reverse tartan)

    I don’t know him. I sent him a message last month to ask if he had any more consoles. I didn’t hear back until yesterday, when he listed one for sale, and was nice enough to let me know. I don’t have a need anymore because I got antsy, and bought new a couple weeks ago.

    VIN 3GCUKSEJ9HG145506 can be used to cross reference the console with white stitching, and a satin nickel colored trim. It’s not the carbon fiber looking silver. 84199890 console assembly side panels: 22817347, 2367516 front bracket 22776807 2 front bolts 11609982 Upper trim piece I ordered was 84092080, for the Synthesis colored metal with 110v outlet.

    Just about 350 miles on my 2018 crew cab Silvy, and the console parts arrived this afternoon. Now I’ve got to read back through this thread for details on the necessary hardware/bolts I’ll need to source locally; plan on making the swap this weekend. Also plan to follow up with pgamboa about his plug/play wire harness.

    Thanks Jay! Did you get yours all sorted out? I’ll tilt up the passenger seat tomorrow, to see what I can find. I noticed that the jumpseat wire went under the passenger seat, but assumed it just circled back and plugged in to the module under the jump. Is the hookup under the passenger seat the connector I need to confirm for use with this plug/play harness?

    Okay, this is fantastic! I just picked up a 2018 Silv crew, and plan on ordering the center console kit tomorrow. What connections do I need to confirm, in order to make sure this plug/play harness works? i took some stuff apart, and grabbed photos from behind the 110v/cig plugs, glove box, and under jumpseat. Does any of this matter, or am I waiting to see what plug type the new console comes with? Thanks so much for the help.
