  1. All right, after months of this issue I've decided to post up about it and see if anyone has run into anything similar. Truck is a '22 Sierra Limited AT4 6.2L with 45k miles on it. It has started randomly running rough (rough idle, truck shaking, sounds like it's down a cylinder or two) with three error messages, Service ESC, Service Parking Brake and Service Power Steering. It also sets a code PO304 (cyl4 misfire). This happens every 20th time or so when I start the truck. If I simply turn the truck off, and back on again, all errors disappear, as do the symptoms. In between these incidents, the truck is basically perfect. For troubleshooting, I've tried replacing the cyl4 plug, as well as swapping the coil pack with cyl2. I've also tried a new battery. No change. Truck is bone stock except for an an Airaid CAI that's been on it for about 2-3 years. I'm pretty much at a loss after months of troubleshooting and googling. With the symptoms, I'm assuming some sort of random electrical or sensor issue, but where to even start? I'm a pretty accomplished shadetree mechanic, so I should be able to do any work necessary - just zero clue what could possibly be wrong. Anyone else ever run into something like this?
  2. Topic pretty much says it all. I'd almost rather get the factory size of 275/50/22 but these are on national backorder with no ETA. I can get the Toyos in 305/45/22 which many people have said should fit, but I figured I'd get actual confirmation. This is for the snowflake 22" factory design that tends to come on Denalis and such. Attached pic for reference only. Long story short, will these rub at full lock? Would live confirmation from someone who actually has this combination. I know it'll be close.
  3. Just as an update, I put some good tires on the truck (Goodyear Duratracs instead of those awful SRAs) and I had it balanced at a competent shop with good equipment (top of the line Hunter road force balancer). My vibration is gone now, thankfully! Now I'm trying to decide how badly to roast my dealership for wasting my time and telling me there was no vibration when I brought it in for service. Dope
  4. Honestly curious, why not the Colorado? I looked at them a bit but they seemed anemic and just not as good all-around as the full-sizes so I passed.
  5. That's crazy! Glad you got it worked out. Dope
  6. It's cool, it's not like there's really other options out there. The Dodges are junk and well, I'd probably be kicked out of my family if I drove a Ford. My last silverado lasted 17 years and 185k miles before the tranny went, so taking care of a little vibration isn't really a big deal to me. It's honestly not even that bad but I'd like it to be as good as it can be.
  7. Hi guys, Traded in my 2000 Silverado on a 2018. Double cab, LT Z71, 4WD, optional 20" wheels (5 star) with goodyear SR-As. It vibrates on the highway, starting around 50mph and peaking around 70-75 I'd say. I have been reading this thread but after realizing it is nearly 800 pages does anyone have a link to a wiki or an FAQ or some sort of summary on the issue? I'm seeing possibly tires, driveshaft, frame, shocks, etc.. I have an appointment on Tuesday to bring it in and I'd like to be as informed as possible. I already have a set of Duratracs to put on it, and they will be road-force balanced (have an excellent shop available). I'm going to wait since I don't want the dealership pointing to the new tires (which are not on the truck yet) as a possible culprit. Many thanks in advance! Dope Edit: just noticed that this is my first post, even though I've been a member since 2009!
