I have a 2016 Silverado and from what I have read you have to remove the entire cable and base mount. I put a wrench on mine and it will spin for days, but it will not unthread.

I guess it's my turn to get on this thread in hopes someone finds the real answer. I have a 2016 High Country that does the same. The door locks cycle when driving, I woke up around 2am to find my headlights shining into the house across the street. I got the keys and turned it around. I guess it had been doing this for weeks. I looked at my camera and saw the headlights were coming on/off every minute. Now when I unlock the truck with the fob, I have to pull the handle before it locks again. I replaced the ground strap just 2 weeks ago, no joy there. I hear it can be the BCM, the drivers door switch quadrant or maybe the remote sensor.? Did I leave anything out.?
