  1. Could be many different oils, as different dealerships use different brands. Mine back when I used to go to the dealership was castrol.
  2. This poll is flawed if I understand correctly, we know if people are burning or not. But theres no way to accuratly gauge which engines are burning more, you can still pick engines and amounts of oil even if you choose "No"
  3. I think mines coming out the pan gasket over time. Theres wet spots but no visible oil. Dealer won't fix.
  4. Glad to see you guys talk about the over-filling being a bad thing. AFTER IT "CLICKS" ONCE its done! I also had a "aftermarket" locking gas cap bought at the dealer, and I was told that it lets air in and out and can help in the failure or the evap solenoid, not sure if thats true but I put the factory one back on. Can't believe GM sells parts that contribute to failures.
  5. The seat belt chime is annoying but I only hear it when my one friend who doesn't wear seatbelts is in my truck. I was in a accident once where if I was wearing a seatbelt (me=passenger) the roof crushing in from when we flipped would have probably killed me (I was tossed into the drivers side). I was drunk and thats why I wasn't wearing one I guess. I always try to wear a seatbelt still, because more people die without seatbelts than with them. Tickets are expensive and I almost feel naked without one on when I'm driving anyways! TO TOPIC STARTER: --If you want to disable it for the cheap just plug your seatbelt in before you get in the seat, or go to a wrecker and slice off a buckle keep it in your door panel when not using and plug it in when your not wearing one (or the passenger)
