  1. great thanks again for the help!
  2. Thanks for the help. Yah its pretty crappy. I will probably be going that route sooner then later as I just cant stand it. I also got back from the dealer yesterday and they said they would align for me. and fix the steering wheel but nope. what is it they need to adjust to fix that? driving on the hwy with a slightly crooked steering wheel does drive you nuts. I cant believe they said they fixed it but thats what you get.I paid them to do it last time so im not expecting a hand out to a suspension mod either just to try and get it back to normal. Its just a "level" kit I didn't expect this many issues with it. makes you regret it that's for sure. can any one recommend a better option upfront? also, I currently don't have stock coils as when I swapped them out I had them in the back of my truck and they actually went missing if you can believe that. so I would have to grab new ones
  3. Ok, dealer may be inexperienced. I will try an alignment shop. I just didn't want to be taking it to 2-3 paying for it and in the end it cant be "perfectly" alighned. No mods just the quick lifts. I do have the rancho rears and a block, but if you drive a speed bump on the front end that's big wow do you ever move on the front. you bounce. so to me it seems like the springs are to stiff. Ive tried all settings and they react the same. just a bit disappointing, I don't quite remember these days what the stock ride was like but vaguely remember it being very smooth and comfortable. I avoid speed bumps because you bounce so bad!
  4. Hey just looking for a bit of help advice. I put in the rancho quick lifts and haven't been to impressed. the ride is very stiff. when going over speed bumps it just rocks you. the front end jumps like crazy. is there any way to help smooth this out? ive tried all settings of the shocks and they are just stiff. my wife isn't a fan. Im thinking about doing something different if they are going to be this stiff. Just not a fun ride. aswell the dealer said they cannot properly align the front end so I have some wear on tires and my steering wheel has a slight told to the right. and doesn't return to center like it does when it is a left turn, is the dealer just inexperienced? I know lots of people run these quick lifts so it must be doable to align properly. should I take to a alignment shop or are they correct that with the 2 inch lift you cant quite align it Thank in advance
  5. is anyone running the 3 inch body lift, with a level and 35s? Im thinking about this set up as my final specs. im running a 2 inch level on slightly larger then stock tires now. it just isn't high enough for me lol if you do can you post pics please. thanks!
  6. let me know what they say. I ordered anyway in pairs. I can put the rears on if the fronts don't work and return them. but that makes no sense, my front end looks just like my buddies regular 4x4. its no higher. ive also read through some other forums and threads and seem someone else had them on a Z71 and did it. so im curious now as why it wouldn't lift
  7. just about to order off ebay, I notice they is a note on it that says " z71 will not have any lift with parts installed " is this due to them not knowing a z71 is no different height wise? or is this legit or incorrect? thanks, im guessing you had lift after it was installed
  8. Hey thank you. I just checked them out. did you do anything to the back? im going this route for sure. I cant stand the ride.
  9. I dropped my psi I think to 240 ish ( based on instrument panel reading ) if I remember right because when I drove the truck right after getting the tires they cranked them up. I read some where it may be psi so went that route right away and dropped them. I didn't notice much though. the rear block really cause that issue? I like the rake and height. is there a reason it would cause that? anyway around it to help the ride with it in? that kinda sucks thanks for the reply by the way, I really mulled over the lift as I didn't want any issues but by reading this forum it eased my mind. but now im kinda regretting it. but hopefully I can get It a bit better. I know it wont be stock, but wasn't expecting sucha big difference,.
  10. Hi! Need a bit of help. I had a leveling kit put on my 14 silvy and am running bfg all terrains. I like the look, however it rides like cement truck now. Over speed bumps the rear jumps hard and hits down hard. the front aswell if the speed bump is larger. im also bouncing all over the place on an uneven road. im not quite sure the kit i got as i just went to a cap-it and they recommended one. maybe this was a bad idea? however I only asked for 2 inch front and an additional 1 inch for the rear. Based on reading this forum very little should be affected. I also feel like it pulls to the right a bit aswell. alighnemnt was ok at first. not sure what would cause that. I got a level as i was hoping to avoid these types of issues. Feel like i should have just wen with a true suspension lift now. any ideas? the ride on these trucks was pretty nice and im disappointed it is so rough now. anyone else have this issue and maybe know how to help it? long shocks? better shocks? anything else to help? Thanks, and sorry im pretty new to the lift kits.
