First off, sorry if there is a thread on this, I searched with no luck. I have recently purchased a 2020 gmc elevation crew cab and installed belltech drop spindles with rear drop shackles (2/2) but would like to drop 4" in the rear. I cant seem to find a 4" kit yet. Has anyone come up with a solution or know of a company who builds one? I have contacted Belltech direct and they have no plans on making a 4". Not sure that I want to c notch a truck with 1100km on it for the 6" Maybe its just not possible on this body style? P.s. This is my first gm product and first time lowering a pickup truck.

Lowering my C3

I’m starting a build on an 01 Sierra c3 and I don’t really know where to start since it’s awd, I’m wanting to do a 5/6 drop, any awd or lowering fanatics? -
Attached is a link to a kit I'm intrigued by because it does a few things I'm quite interested in... Namely: - Appears to be more geared towards improving the handling rather than just dropping the ride height. - IS NOT a gonzo drop... I'm really only wanting to do a 2/4 at the most. This is a 2/3 if one uses the entire kit. Belltech's site doesn't say much about it. Belltech has been in the game for a good long while, so I have to assume that they know what they are doing. Belltech is also in bed with KW Automotive... That should also speak to the legitness of Belltech in the here and now. Anywho... here it is: https://www.belltech.com/products/belltech/lowering/complete-lowering-kits/performance-handling-kits/belltech-performance-handling-kit-07-18-1-2-ton-silverado-sierra-all-cabs-short-bed-985hk.html Practical knowledge and insights regarding the kit would be awesome. Thoughts from the collective braintrust are also welcome. Thanks y'all!

Hello everyone! This is my first time posting here and appreciate all of the knowledge that is shared throughout this forum. I'm interested in lowering my 17' Silverado Crew cab with a 3/5 drop on 22's. My current set up is just a leveling kit with 33's and 20in wheels. I purchased it from the dealer with this current set up. It's a 2WD. I was planning on making it a Pre-Runner, but my mind can't stray away from sport trucks. The only mods I have done are the skid plate, 50. cal antenna, Carven and the tint. Planning on doing some interior changes and maybe some forced induction, but i want to get the suspension finalized first. Here is my question: Whats the best static drop set up out there? I have read that INEZ, and DJM have issues with limiting the turning radius. I am ignorant as to wether those issues have been fixed. Im looking at the McGauphys Lowering kit for the Stamped Steel or Aluminum Factory Control Arms Part #34270. What are your opinions and if you have the McGauphys set up, how do you like it? Do you have any turning radius issues? Thank you for your time everyone. - Drew

I am currently in the process of rebuilding my 2003 ss silverado. It started with the brake lines and turned into way more. It's already lowered but I was wondering how low can I really make it without damaging the awd components. Don't have the money to experiment with different parts. It's currently lowered 3/4. Have tons on pictures I will add later.

Within the next couple of weeks I plan on being in a NNBS (2007.5 - 2011 range) Sierra/Silverado 1500. It will be either a extended cab or crew cab I dont wanna make numerous threads so I was just going to post up a couple questions in this one thread. First off, I dont want to notch the frame, but I want to lower it. Going to go with helper bags for ride quality as well. Who knows maybe down the road Ill get a bass boat. I dont know if I want to run 22's or 24's. Ideally Id want 24's to help with the fender gap. Plus these NNBS fenders seems like it swallows any size wheel. The problem I dont want to run into with 24's and dropping it really low is I dont want to have to run rubberbands on it. The roads here in Oklahoma arent good by any means. I dont wanna hit a pot hole or uneven pavement and bend/ruin a wheel and knock down a tire. So, I need some info on realistic tire sizes Id be able to run on 24's with the drop I desire. Just from browsing the internet and a couple other truck forums, Ive found trucks with stances that Id like to shoot for. The only issue I have with trying to emulate these stances is the fact that it seems like everything is different and doesnt fall in line with the same set up on another truck. Ive seen trucks that were supposedly dropped 3-5 that looked more like 2-4. Ive seen 4-6 that looked more like a 3-5 and also 4-6 that looked more like a 5-7. My goal is to have as little fender gap as possible, while not compromising too much on ride quality. But if it comes down to a decision having to be made, Id definitely sacrifice more ride quality for better looks. Ill post up a couple pics of the those stances I mentioned: Im not sure what any of the trucks pictured have had done to them in terms of their stances. Can I get some insight on if this attainable without notching the frame? Any and all suggestions, input, and opinions are wanted and welcome. Thanks!
