Correct me if I’m wrong. I have a 2016 Silverado 1500 they can fit 33x11.5 factory. Negative Offset in a wheel pulls the wheel out from the inside of the wheel well. so if I have say a -24 mm offset wheel I can accommodate a wider tire. I have mixed reviews on largest tire size. I only have the front leveled 2 in. I just ordered a set of 5 pro comp wheels with -38 mm offset. Could pull the wheel out 1.5 inches. im looking for tires. I wanna run a 305 70 r17 34x12 this should fit with no rubbing? I forgot to mention I have a barricade pre runner front bumper with skids. just looking for some reassurance on that tire size before I order. Looking to order on Thursday.
Has anyone ordered a replacement piece for the front bumper to replace one with a license plate bracket. Mine came with the bracket already installed and I live in a state that does not require the bracket. Thinking about ordering the part and putting it on myself, just wondering if it's a hard job or not.
I bought the 3 piece Underbody Shield (Part No. 23176882) a few weeks ago and had all 3 pieces powder-coated a matte red color that would match the red in the GMC emblem.. Fast forward to trying to install them last week and 2 of the 3 fit no problem, however the 3rd (which is the largest & most prominent one visually) did not appear to fit. The back bolt locations line up perfectly where it meets the other plate, however the front piece looks like it isn't long enough or shaped/angled correctly to reach what appeared to be the obvious locations for the provided threaded bolts. This Part No. as a standalone is 23135960 (GM OEM Engine Skid Plate). My question is this: Does this item actually not fit? I understand the Denali trim level has a different lower bumper due to the LED fogs, but did GM seriously over-engineer this to the point that the internals/bolt patterns & cross members don't match up for these?!? Hoping someone can provide me some input of confirm I'm just being an idiot & that there is a way to make this fit, because I really want to get this installed or find the proper replacement ASAP..
Hello all, New to the forum. I installed a train horn behind the front bumper and removed my lower air dam. Things is, I want to replace that black Sierra plastic skid plate with the =Denali Chrome one. Give the front end a beefier front end... I will try to add mock up pics from my iphone. Anyway, I got the lower dam off, piece of cake. Got all but two screws from the upper plastic skid plate. The other two screws are almost impossible to reach. HAs anyone tried to remove this thing? https://www.generalmotorspartsonline.com/oem-parts/gm-skid-plate-23243492?origin=pla I am really hoping I don't have to remove the front bumper,m valance trim etc just to get at those two screws. Anyone done this before? any ideas? Thanks in advance! here is the phtoshoped version of what i am trying. The white letters for gmc i already did with reflective vinyl, looks cool at night when lights hit it! Plus it matches the truck. I did the rear as well
