Correct me if I’m wrong. I have a 2016 Silverado 1500 they can fit 33x11.5 factory. Negative Offset in a wheel pulls the wheel out from the inside of the wheel well. so if I have say a -24 mm offset wheel I can accommodate a wider tire. I have mixed reviews on largest tire size. I only have the front leveled 2 in. I just ordered a set of 5 pro comp wheels with -38 mm offset. Could pull the wheel out 1.5 inches. im looking for tires. I wanna run a 305 70 r17 34x12 this should fit with no rubbing? I forgot to mention I have a barricade pre runner front bumper with skids. just looking for some reassurance on that tire size before I order. Looking to order on Thursday.

Hey everyone, Has anyone found a metal skid plate to replace the plastic ones that came from the factory on 2014-2015 Silverado 4wd? I've found quite a few that are specifically for lifted applications, but none for stock or level height.

Hi all, I am looking to start a slow conversion to turn my truck into something like a prerunner and I'm looking for suggestions and advice. Current set-up: 2015 LTZ Crew cab 4X4 w/6.2L and 8spd tranny -Rancho Quicklift Leveling Struts -275/70/r18 General Grabber AT2(on stock alloys) Goal: -Make my truck look something similar to the 2nd picture Information needed: -What is the best order to do the mods in considering some require others already be in place? -What parts will I need aside from bumpers, fiberglass fenders/custom fender wells? -What parts will 35's or 37's rub in the front? In the rear?(assuming I already have 3inch or 5.5 inch fiberglass fenders already installed) -What issues will I run into with each modification? -When after I get to the desired appearance, what suspension is highly recommended for daily deliverable yet efficient off-road(i.e. Fox 2.0? 2.5? Icon stage? King ? Etc.) Thanks!

Last Weekend I spend most of my time Building a PreRunner-Style Bed Tire carrier for my Silverado. I have always loved how Trophy Trucks and PreRunners Look with the Dual Spare Tires on The back, and wanted to incorporate some of that into my truck build, so I decided to learn how to cut tubing and weld, while making this build The total cost of this project was less than US$100.00 (without straps) Take into account that my execution is far from perfect, and that it has downsides, but maybe this Topic will help anyone else who would be interested on doing something like this and consider my mistakes, so, this is my philosophy: -Im a Mexican living in Mexico, our roads are FAR from good, and I have always carried 2 spare tires just in case (one on the stock location, one strapped on the bed) -I wanted to free the space the 2nd spare was taking on the bed, and I just wanted a Dual Tire carrier just because -I built it specifically to stock mounting locations for the stock tailgate, to be able to return the truck to Stock anytime -I dont haul heavy stuff, so, not having an opening tailgate is something I can live with -I wanted to keep my Tonneau Cover -It is solid mounted to the bed, so it also acts as a brace and improves overall bed strength -It helps with Weight distribution, helps the truck be less tail happy and smoother -Im planning to incorporate toolboxes on the carrier (Soon I hope) Here is the video of the Build, pics are attached: Hope You Enjoy Comments and Criticism is well received

I have a '14 Double Cab RWD and am looking to go into a mid travel pre-runner setup. I wanted someone with experience to look at my build list and let me know if I will be OK running 35" tires in the rear. I know the fronts will fit with fiberglass fenders but I really, really didn't want to glass the bed. Here's the build details: Front: Mazzulla Mid Travel Kit (Upper and Lower A-Arms) Link (2-3" of lift with coilovers) Mazzulla Spindles Link (3.5" or more of lift) King Coilovers FiberwerX Fiberglass Fenders Link Rear: Deaver Minipack J1 Link King Piggyback Shocks 4.11 Yukon Rear Gears (Stock 3.42) Method Race “NV” Wheel - 17x8.5 0mm Offset 6x135 35x12.5R17 Tires N-Fab RSP Pre-Runner Bumper Front So, based on that info, I know the fronts will be OK clearance-wise with the 35's, but will the 2" lift from the deaver mini-pak have enough lift to prevent issue on the rear axle?
