Thoughts on trading in before 100k
bartonjude replied to benny12's topic in 2014 - 2019 Silverado & Sierra
Dave Ramsay always says, the cheapest car you can operate is the one you currently own. -
Wow, great post! Beautiful wheels and beautiful nature shots, can't ask for more than that!

McKee's 37 Road Kill Bug Scrubber: https://www.mckees37.com/bug-sponge1.html The best part about this scrubber is that you don't have to wet the whole front of the truck to clean bugs. I just soak this scrubber in a bucket of water with a little window cleaner and once bugs are removed, just wipe truck dry with a microfiber. We are just finishing up the love bug season here. We know bugs in South Louisiana.?

2020 Transmission & Suspension vs. 2019
bartonjude replied to hotrodz37's topic in 2019-2025 Silverado & Sierra
I'd really like to know what was improved/changed on the suspension for 2020. Anyone care to "drill down" on that portion of the OP's question? -

I have to second the Nitto recommendation. I've used Terra Grapplers on my current truck and previous one, they performed and lasted well. Affordable too.

Any tips to improve fuel mileage?
bartonjude replied to xSHIFTxNASTYx's topic in 2014 - 2019 Silverado & Sierra
It costs to be sexy. -
I have a 15 CC Z71, at 41k the motor mounts were changed. I had excessive engine vibration at idle speeds prior to the new motor mounts. Now at 54k, it is still smooth at idle as when they were changed. All covered under the powertrain warranty.

Just replaced my SRA's, had 49k on them. Went with Nitto Terra Grappler G2s, P275/65/18. No more slipping and sliding. Lost 1mpg.
