  1. Yes mine did this....replaced the engine temp sensor and the problem when away.
  2. I had #1 cylinder misfire and after changing all plugs, plug wires and then all ignition coil packs myself and still had misfire took truck to dealership and they told me I had no compression in #1 cylinder and needed new long block. Luckily I had bought a extended warranty after I paid truck off and they covered it all except taxes and stuff like plugs, wires and ignition coils which I had already replaced and they didn't cover new belts, hoses and 1 motor mount. But I did get a new 6.2 with 3 year 100k miles warranty from GM and the warranty also replaced entire rear differential, drive shaft and both axles, all bearing and seals and ring and pinion gears as well. Again I only paid taxes and original diagnostic cost. I currently have 135k miles on my 2015 CC LTZ and almost a entire new drive train. Oh and transmission was replaced under original factory warranty at 97k miles
  3. Bought these off a 2015 Cadillac SUV, owner went with 24" setup so I sold my 20's and went with this setup, had to buy center bowtie caps but other than that fit right on. Had some issues swapping my TPS sensors (wouldn't reprogram at 1st) but I like the look.
  4. I went with 3.73 on mine, had 4.10 on my '12 silverado with 6 spd and yes it made it quite fast but the MPG's dropped a lot, 3.73's with the 8spd is still averaging 16-17 mpg on my daily driving and on a 300+ mile trip I averaged 21.7 mpg and that was loaded down with camping gear (fire wood) and 3 people in truck doing 70 to 80+ mph
  5. Changed wheels and tire for a different look.
  6. Blacked out my Bow-tie and added "6.2L" emblems.
  7. Just picked up my 15' CC LTZ with the 6.2 option. This makes my 3rd Silverado with the 6.2. No better engine IMO.
  8. Here's mine with some finial Mods on my 2014 RZR XP 1000 with 36" Terminators on 18" wheels,
  9. Seems the 14's w/6.2 is a little larger the the 5.3's but both are angled out the same and somewhat difficult to tell apart IMO.
  10. These are my RZR 800's I sold: 2009 RZR 800 - 8" lifted with 31 Outlaw Tire and many other modifications 2011 RZR-S - 3" lift with 29.5 outlaw tires
  11. 2013 Ranger XP 900 - 4 inch lift with arched a-arm, w/34x10x15" terminator tires, HD front brush bumper with 5K winch, HD Rhino axles front and rear. 2014 RZR XP 1000 - No lift but has 34x10x15" Terminator tires, custom exhaust for belt box, SSV 6 speaker audio system.
  12. Anyone know of a good aftermarket engine mount for the 6.2, I have broke both of mine at the same time it seems and wonder if there is a stronger one out there. (This was covered under my warranty).
  13. OK, after driving with new gear ratio for about 4-5 hours on both highway and around town I have went from 17-19 average on highway to 14-16 depending on where my foot is at. In the city I was 13-16 and that has not really changed. It seems like the throttle cable,if it had one which it does not, has been shortened and much less effort is needed to get up to speed. I mean you just barely have to breath on the gas pedaled to reach 30-60 mph. On the highway 65-75 is nothing. Before anyone ask,yes I did recalibrate me gear ratio setting and it is dead on with my Garmin navigation in the truck. It's just hard to believe the difference as I was already really impressed with my trucks performance. I figure once I am adjusted to the new gearing my mpg will get somewhat better, not what I had but better.
  14. Having my 2012 CC regeared from 3.42 to 4.10, excited to see the performance differences. Has anyone else had this done, and if so what differences other than slight loss in mpg have you experienced?
  15. Here is what it sounds like when under throttle
  16. I am running 2 - 2.5" Magnaflow 16" (I think) these are ran true duels and are seperated. I like the sound myself.
  17. SilveradoX2.......I took it to a performance muffler shop of Shepard & Parker in the North Houston area (Best Mufflers), all together including material I spent $470.00, (I already had 1 of the Magnaflow mufflers and reused it and bought 2nd one along with X-Pipe.
  18. It has been awhile since I have posted on here, I made another change on mine by running true duel exhaust and removed the 3rd cat, ran both pipes thru H- pipe into 2 Magnaflows. Sounds unreal and big increase in low end torque. Has anyone else done this and been happy with their results?
  19. Ha Thanks me too, Still think yours is the 540 Hp LOL, So have you hit a top speed yet? Esp since now you know where the DIC has the digital speedometer.
  20. I made some changes on my 2012 CC Texas Eddition: Added red pin stripping and red emblem on hood. IMO it makes mine stand out from other white ones and gives me a little personal styling and difference. Just IMO guys and gals to each their own right.
  21. Ha Ha !! Thought you would like that, makes me wonder why they would add that option as we both might have to ask Chevy for bail money. Another thing different I found was when I updated my Hypertech programer for 2012 a shift firmness mode was added allowing me to adjust shifting type from 0% up to 100% firmer, I have mine on 50% and taking off at a light I hit second with a little wheel spin and quick shifts all the way up to 5th and 6th. Only thing is my stock tire will be gone in no time if I'm not carefull.
  22. I bet if they tried to run you they might find out real quick what Callaway stands for, LOL. If your truck is a 12' then it should have the digital speedometer on the DIC screen I believe because mine does and it goes past the 120 mark and is right on with both the speedometer and my garmin when I hit 135 it showed the same, but my 2011 silverado did not have that option on the DIC panel so mabe it is a new option for 12' up.
